Our Programs

Building skills, restoring dignity, and strengthening families across Metro Detroit.

Youth Empowerment Program

Our flagship 6-7 week program prepares young people ages 12-18 for employment, independence, and adulthood. Each cohort moves through a structured curriculum designed to build real-world skills that last a lifetime.

  • Vital document acquisition — birth certificates and state IDs
  • Resume building and job applications
  • Workplace etiquette and professionalism
  • Financial literacy, banking, and budgeting
  • Health education, hygiene, and self-care
  • Cooking basics and life independence skills
  • One-on-one mentoring from community leaders
  • Guest speakers and enrichment activities
  • Parent support and family engagement
  • Graduation ceremony with certificates of completion

Impact to date: 50 youth served, 10 vital identification documents obtained for the first time.

Healing Hearts Support Group

A safe, compassionate space for families navigating grief, loss, and life transitions. Many parents in our community are grieving the loss of children and loved ones with no support system in place. Healing Hearts provides that support.

  • Group grief support sessions
  • Safe space for open conversation and healing
  • Peer support from others who understand
  • Connections to counseling and mental health resources
  • Family-centered approach — supporting the whole household

Our belief: You cannot build a strong community if families are carrying grief alone. Healing is the foundation for everything else.

Community Outreach

We meet our community where they are — providing essential resources, food, clothing, and support to individuals and families who need it most.

  • Annual Homeless Outreach Event (November) — hot meals, warm clothing, hygiene kits, socks, gloves, and winter essentials for 150+ individuals
  • Backpack Drive (August) — school supplies for youth heading back to school
  • Faith Feed 50 — community meals and resources for families in need
  • Hygiene Kit Distribution — year-round distribution of soap, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, lotion, and carrying bags
  • Mobile Community Support — resource navigation, administrative assistance, and referrals brought directly to underserved families
  • Food drives and essential supply distribution

Impact to date: 150 unhoused individuals served, 200+ hygiene kits distributed, 25 families connected to critical resources.
